Generac 16K exercise & idle problems

I had a 16K Generac installed a couple months ago and still have the following problems. The exercise mode does not work. It will start when you push the switch and run for 12 minutes. Also in the exercise mode 1800 RPM it seems to run real rough. It runs smooth at load and full power. The installer auth Generac Dealer thinks it may be be the switch, and said all 16K gen run rough at 1800RPM? Any ideas.

What is the length and diameter of your fuel line?

If it is just forgetting what time to run, and not running at all, then its definitly an issue with the PCB. It is not the switch, as you say it runs when you push it in.
