The manual says to change the oil after the first 8 hours of operation but shoot that is going to be a year from now based on the exercise schedule.
I don't see a time reference in the manual. Any problem with changing the oil sooner than 8 hours?
Thanks as always guys.

The best suggestion I have had is to run the generator under a load for a few hours. That would wear in the piston rings better than a no-load exercise run. Then change the oil.
Four hours or more of running under load seems to be OK for an oil change.

Hmm that is great advice. I did not think of that. Will probably do that today!
