Ok guys little info. My Gas Co. guy tells me that he has changed my meter to a larger one and has changed the regulator on his side that will change pounds to oz's since he claims his line has 55 #'s on it. He tells me his is going to give me 6 oz's to my house and generator. Now the way if figured it that will be approx. 10.38 of water column. Now I have already installed a regulator at the house to knock down the pressure to normal household usage.

Now: This sounds like I will need to install another regulator at the generator, since the generator requires between 5 to 7 inches of water column and according to this Gas Co. guy he is giving me 6 ozs, or 10.38 inches of water column?
And if I do install the Reg., when I test the pressure at the generator what do I set it at???

Assuming from previous posts you have installed one or two 5638's. 10.38" should be ideal. The specs for the 5638 range from 5" to 14" Water Column. The fuel regulator installed in the 5638 will work fine with an input of 10.38".

So no need for an additional regulator? Have you ever heard of the warranty being voided if there was not an additional regulator installed?

WB5CCO is right - that generator will accept anything up to 14" W.C. You could install an additional regulator, however its not necessary if you'll be at or under 14" W.C.
