With the recent cold spell in the midwest, we have ran into some no-start issues.
Batteries become much weaker with sub-zero temperatures and sparks become weaker.
To help a cold weather start, Re-gap your spark plugs to .0015" and turn your fuel regulator 1/4 turn counter clockwise.
This will make the spark hotter, and also richen up the fuel mixture!
This applies to all 440-992 engines WITH a mechanical governor
