Hello, after having troubles with my votage/frequency I called Ziller and they said my voltage regulator was shot, so I bought one from you and voila! voltage and freq back to normal. But I have a fuel question, Since I was having trouble with the voltage, I was adjusting the fuel and now the generator won't come up to full speed for about 30 seconds where before it was instant. I played around with it and I either get it to run too slow, or it goes to overspeed. Is there a procedure to adjust the fuel settings from scratch?
I am running propane. The generator is a 04675-0
Thanks!

How are you measuring engine RPM's?

I am using the method you described in antother thread. I have a Fluke true RMS Meter and multiplying the frequency between N1 and N2 by 60.

This sounds to me like a governor issue. When I'm in the office tomorrow, I will scan the page dealing with resetting a governor for you. It may look intimidating, but if you take your time it is a breeze

I found something interesting, If I open the top, the speed increases a couple hundred rpm like it is being starved for air when closed. If I take the front panel off, the rpm goes up even further. The air filter is new and nothing is blocked. But you are the expert, fuel or governor
